Character's Full Name: Elinor "Ella" Cailte
PB: Brooke Williams
Character's Starting Level: 4
Character Age: 24
Physical Description: Ella is short and thin, a very diminutive woman, with clear blue eyes and very, very bright red hair. Her skin is pale and freckled but otherwise clear. She favors dresses in shades of pink and rose that shouldn't compliment her hair, but do. Deal. With. It.
Character's Species/Race: Half-fairy/half-leprechaun

Character History (Pre-Veil): She was a baby, she remembers nothing!

Post Veil History (if applicable): Ella came through the veil with her older brother, Finnegan (called Finn), when she was a baby. The siblings were found and raised in Ireland by an older couple who were former knights themselves.

Her childhood was nice, almost idyllic if you ignore the part where her parents taught her to fight before she could write. Whoops. They fit in well with modern society, not having any memories of any other way of life, though the man that became their father, a wizard from the Shadow World, taught them about the different worlds. It was he who realized Ella's fascination with magic was innate rather than something he simply taught her. While Finn showed no signs of an aptitude, or even an interest -- he preferred brute strength over anything else -- Ella excelled at arcane lore and history. She was basically a nerd with magic. Her personality clashed with her father's teaching methods though so he recruited a knight, a wizard as well, to teach Ella magic but they also... didn't get along well. He considered her undisciplined and flighty and she thought he was a butthead.

Their student/teacher relationship didn't last a week.

Basically, she learned magic on her own with the basics from her dad. She learned fast, better at spells having to do with nature (mist/fog, electricity/lightning, light), than any other type. Her divination magic... isn't the best. It's just not in her nature. She doesn't look ahead. Like, ever.

She was popularish in high school and kept to herself in college. To this day, she still doesn't know why she went to college since her degree in history is pretty much useless, but everyone else in her class went to college so... She did too.

She went to university in Ireland, but joined the knights at the same time (NO I CAN DO BOTH, I KNOW I CAN, ISTG WYNN I CAN DO BOTH), being squired to Sir Anastacia O'Keefe. She was promoted after she proved her violent methods and look before she leaps nature masked someone who will fiercely protect innocents, even if it meant rendering her magic useless which forced her to rely on her other strengths like her quick wit and out of the box plans. She ain't a one trick pony. She was twenty two and joined the Dragon's Fire without second thought because magic is what she is.

She met Andrew post knighting and they quickly because besties and when Ella graduated, she moved to London to work for the knights full time. She loves to go out on missions, but six months ago her mom died and she moved back to Ireland to be with her dad. But. He died too.

So. SHE'S BACK WITH THE KNIGHTS, CALL IT A COPING MECHANISM.

Personality and Psychology: Ella is a series of contradictions. She's brash and often acts without thinking, but she is compassionate and can think quickly on her feet at the same time. She's flighty but nature, absentminded and hyperactive.

Being the younger sibling made her loud and fearless, following her brother into doing anything, even (or especially) if it was dangerous and far beyond her skill level. Finn is known for having to rescue Ella from falling off the roof because she went up there to stargaze and forgot about silly things like gravity and physics. It also made her physically incapable of backing down from a bet or even a perceived bet. 90% of the time, Finn would get her to do something she didn't want to do by daring her to do it. She's a little bit like Marty McFly. It's almost a Napoleon complex, people keep telling her she can't (too young, too small, too immature, too wild) so she keeps telling them to fuck off and tries to prove them wrong, it doesn't always have the best results, but a for effort?

But she's scared of almost everything: violence, missions, abandonment. She still does all one things and she will deny up, down and sideways that's she's scared, but it's a mask easily seen through. She's still just a kid, basically, but she's been in and around the knights long enough to know that being scared doesn't actually make her weak, just, you know, human. (Or... humanish, whatever, you know what I mean.)

She is a bit of a girly girl, but she rocks it. Jeans feel weird to her okay, she can do everything in a dress that anyone else can do it pants. She indentifies as straight, but she isn't actually sexually attracted to anyone. Granted she's not opposed to flirting and making out if the time calls for it (hey Edain, hey) but she also doesn't really have a fuck to give. She's a virgin and that's something she is proud of, thanks to some prodding from Andrew and not being in the environment of high school and college.

She loves her family a whole lot, she will smack any a bitch that is unkind onto Finn which is probably why they can never go on missions together because she sure would let someone else die to save him and she won't even deny it. Moving back with her dad when her mom died wasn't even a question, she just zoomed back to take care of him. Equally why she zoomed back after he died because aside from Finn, the knights are the only family she has.

Powers and Abilities: Ella is a sorcerer, so she has all the abilities granted to her by that class and whatever abilities she inherited from being half-fairy and half-leprechaun. She bites, I'm pretty sure that in an ability ok. ASK ANDREW.

She is technologically deficient, she can check her emails and text and surf the web, but lol that's it. She prefers books.

rope. next time they need to bring rope.

Link to a sample of your prose writing style: aurora being... aurora.

Any other important information (including special inventory items in their possession): She has a gold necklace with a harp charm that came through the veil with her. Maybe it's magic, idk. Also Finn isn't actually her brother, but a human guardian given to her at birth, they were both just too young to know that.

Why do you think this character would join/work with the Knights? Well, she grew up with them. It's her family. This is her life, yo.

Okay, real talk. Finn and Ella were adopted by knights, they grew up learning about magic and shadow worlds and monsters and miracles and then it turned out Ella could do some of that miraculous stuff. She's never wanted for a "normal life" away from the knights because her normal life and life with the knights were so intertwined, it's the same thing to her. She learned very early on that what she could do can help people, protect people, and being so small and with that little bulldog complex, being able to do that is incredibly important to how she sees herself and her own self worth. She can fake a lot of confidence, but she only really feels confident when she is with the knights, when she knows she has all the people behind her and with her. It's... family.

Do you have a preference for which NPC brought in your character? I would like her to have been squired to Anastacia, if that is okay. But I can work with someone else if you would like, I just think Anastacia would bring out the compassionate side of her and teach her that its equally as important as her magic and bitey violent side.
